Preschool Birthday Time!!!!!!!

I think the preschool birthdays are the best! I don't have to teach and they get to stuff their faces with cake and snacks. A win/win situation!

Korean Cross Stitch and Christmas Stickers!!!!

I have fallen in love with the little stationary shops here that are about as big as a bedroom and crammed from head to toe with adorable pencils, erasers, stickers, candy, gifts, and toys. These little shops are sooo colorful, and since their target market is children, most of the items are super cheap- like $1 or $2. Here are some things I picked up the other night when I was in the mood for some cheap thrills.

Cross Stitch kit- 500 Won (50 cents)

Dress Up Fashion stickers 200 Won (20 cents)

Little Girl Cross Stitch Kit 500 Won (50 cents)

My Melody Chirstmas glittery stickers 1,000 Won ($1)

More My Melody Stickers.....

I really don't mind being the oldest shopper at these little stores! Too much fun!

Drawing pictures with my new markers....

I was feeling very artsy the other day and decided to buy some super cute art supplies. Even the markers and pencil sharpeners have little hampsters on them. So i decided to copy off of some happy sushi and noodle stickers and make some colorful drawings. I thought they turned out pretty well, so here they are.

My Apartment

I love my new apartment!

A view of my apartment building from out front. I think these buildings look a bit European.

A view of the high rise apartments behind my house.

The super convenient corner store right next to my apartment.

Here is my super comfie queen sized bed. Sooo Ikea style, don't you think?

My TV, desk, and clothing shelves. I am thankful I brought the colorful fabric, as seen in the background. Always makes me feel at home!

My clean, white bathroom

My cute stuff always makes me feel at home, and I feel right at home here in Korea with all of the pink and cute stuff.

Here is what $20 worth of stuff at Daiso looks like. Gotta love that place!!!

The view of my apartment as I enter into the front door. I really like my rabbit trash can.

My tiny kitchen gets the job done, as if I would actually cook anything in it! Eating out is the way to save money here.
